You may be the fastest, you may be the largest team (or not!), but can your church raise the most money in pledges to your runner/walker participation?
That’s what this award is all about. The race is able to raise monies for the Bishop's Fund for Children through registration fees and church sponsorships (which help pay for our expenses), but the way we can raise even more money is by small donations pledged to individual participants and credited to that person’s church.
Money can be handed in on race day, pledged on-line or mailed by June 30 to: Bishop’s 5K for Kid’s, 1335 Asylum Avenue, Hartford, CT 06105. To make sure your church gets credited, checks need to have the name of the church (and town) in the memo line. The trophy will be presented to the winner at our next Diocesan convention.
